how to use pitch-o-matic

1. select pitches:
   check one or more pitches. for play selected, select exactly one pitch.
2. select octaves:
   check one or more octaves (2 to 7). for play selected, select exactly one octave.
3. add intervals:
   optionally check perfect 5th and/or octave to play intervals above the base note.
4. volume:
   adjust the volume slider.
5. play random:
   plays a random pitch and octave from your selections with selected intervals. click again to stop.
6. play selected:
   plays the single selected pitch and octave with selected intervals. click again to stop.
7. show random note:
   displays a random pitch and octave from your selections without sound.
8. play shown note:
   plays the pitch shown by show random note, with intervals if selected. click again to stop.

note:
for play selected, exactly one pitch and octave must be selected.
interval options apply to both play modes.
